In Islamabad, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has advised Pakistan to implement social programs alongside the Benazir Income Support Program.
According to reports from private television, the IMF emphasizes the necessity for additional measures to ensure social security for vulnerable segments of the population, advocating the continuation of affordable electricity and gas tariff structures for these groups.
The IMF has further highlighted the imperative to enhance the administrative structure, disbursement mechanism, and transparency of the Benazir Income Support Program.
