
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that beneficiaries under the Haj Saadat government scheme will receive a refund of 97,000 rupees per person. A total of 12 billion rupees will be returned to pilgrims who performed Hajj under the government scheme.
Additionally, 22,600 pilgrims who were unable to secure a seat in Mina and did not use the train facility will receive an extra refund of 21,000 rupees per person. Moreover, 18,000 pilgrims who stayed outside the center in Madinah will be reimbursed an additional amount of 14,000 rupees per person.
The statement also highlighted that 63 percent of the pilgrims were accommodated nearest to Madinah Munawara, and 78 percent benefited from the mushaira train facility at Mini Arafat. Furthermore, 47 percent of the pilgrims were provided with tents in Old Muni during the Hajj pilgrimage.
