Lahore Police has claimed to have arrested 14 terrorists trying to escape from Zaman Park last night. Out of the arrested terrorists, 4 are involved in the attack on Askari Tower and 2 are involved in the Corps Commander House attack.
Important revelations about the arrested terrorists have come to light. 8 terrorists had contacts with the top leadership of PTI and were taking instructions from him. According to police sources, the phone numbers of the leaders of all the accused have been attached. Accused Bakht Alam is a resident of Shangla and Mumtaz is a resident of Mardan.
Both were in touch with leaders in KP. Azizul Ghani of Swat also took instructions from KP. Ijaz of Masri Shah, Abdul Ghafoor of Ichhra and Zohaib of Shahdara were taking instructions from Ijaz Chaudhry. Nabil of Shalimar and Hanzla of Sialkot were also constantly taking instructions.
