In a casual discussion at Adiala Jail, Khan criticized Nawaz Sharif’s economic policies, claiming a decline from a 6.7% growth rate to zero, with an increase in inflation to 38%. He blamed the PML-N government for deteriorating relations with Afghanistan and emphasized the need for transparent elections.
Khan acknowledged Iran’s mistake in attacking Pakistan and warned against external interference from Israel. He stressed the importance of avoiding conflicts in the current economic climate. Reflecting on his government’s efforts to improve relations with India and manage terrorism, Khan advocated for political solutions over military actions.
Regarding the distribution of railway kits, Khan admitted that his decision to form the government was a mistake and regretted extending General (R) Bajwa’s tenure. He expressed a preference for sitting in the opposition, believing that a fair election is crucial for stability. Khan also commented on Azam Khan’s revelations in court, emphasizing the need for reforms to address economic deficits and uphold the rule of law.
Khan asserted that 90% of the army supports PTI and revealed Bajwa’s statement expressing the army’s allegiance during a meeting at the President’s House. Regarding the uncertain political climate and his disqualification, Khan expressed frustration with the situation, claiming that the match was fixed.
Addressing Khawar Manika’s marriage request during Iddat and the subsequent case, Khan criticized the establishment’s involvement and defended Manika, referring to those behind the case as morally compromised individuals.
