Rawalpindi: Imran Khan, the founder of PTI, has stated that the upcoming events on February 8 will be significant, revealing that Nawaz Sharif’s name will remain on the Exit Control List (ECL) until the elections. Imran Khan anticipates that if Nawaz Sharif loses, he will once again flee to London.
Speaking to the media at Adiala Jail, Imran Khan referenced the Holy Quran, emphasizing the consequences for societies that deviate from moral directives. He underscored the importance of justice for societal progress, noting that those who stand against goodness align with hypocrisy.
Imran Khan expressed his perspective on individuals being “picked up and updated like software,” referring to the specialization in software updates among certain people. He questioned the focus on PTI leadership while other matters, such as the acquisition of cars from Tosha Khana by Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, and Zardari, are overlooked.
Highlighting the challenges faced by PTI during election campaigns, Imran Khan criticized the concentration on eliminating PTI and emphasized the need for the Supreme Court to address human rights violations. He lamented the damaged relations with Afghanistan and the neglect of foreign policy.
Imran Khan, currently incarcerated, shared his experience in jail, mentioning the absence of mobile phones and the opportunity for relaxation and exercise. He urged the nation to choose between being slaves or a free nation, declaring his commitment to fighting for freedom and rejecting slavery.
Addressing a journalist’s question about a viral cartoon on social media, Imran Khan emphasized his non-involvement in the Panama Papers and the necessity for strict accountability for the country’s development. He reiterated that powerful individuals would resist the establishment of the rule of law.
