Rawalpindi: FIA team arrested PTI founder Imran Khan in jail for posting an anti-state video from his official X account.
According to Express News, the FIA team arrived at Adiala Jail to investigate the PTI founder for promoting an anti-state video on his social media platform, X.
Prison sources revealed that Additional Director FIA Ayaz Ahmed and Sub-Inspector Muneeb were part of the investigation team. Imran Khan was interrogated by the FIA team in the presence of his lawyers, Chaudhry Zaheer Abbas and Intarz Panjhota.
Jail sources mentioned that the FIA team showed Imran Khan posts from his X account during the investigation. He answered the questions posed by the FIA team with the assistance of his lawyers. The interrogation lasted approximately 55 minutes.
The PTI founder was asked more than 16 questions during the interrogation, which took place in the conference room of Adiala Jail. Imran Khan responded to all the questions with the help of his lawyers.
After completing the investigation, the FIA Rawalpindi team departed from Adiala Jail.
