Toshakhana 2 case, Imran Khan's release order issued

Imran Khan has submitted a formal request to establish a judicial commission aimed at scrutinizing the outcomes of the recent general elections in Islamabad.

The former Prime Minister and founding chairman of PTI, Imran Khan, has lodged an application with the Supreme Court, urging the formation of a commission to address alleged irregularities in the conduct of the general elections.

In the petition put forth by Imran Khan, he appeals for the formation of an impartial judicial commission comprising active judges from the Supreme Court, tasked with conducting a thorough audit of the general elections and subsequent result declarations.

The plea emphasizes the immediate cessation of functioning for both federal and provincial governments, alongside a demand for the public release of the judicial commission’s report.
