Imran Riaz, a journalist and YouTuber, was reportedly halted from departing at Islamabad airport, where he intended to embark on a pilgrimage to Hajj.
This incident follows his recent release on bail in the Zaman Park attack case by the anti-terrorism court of Lahore on March 9. Imran Riaz had previously been arrested on March 27 in connection with an assault and vandalism case involving the police.
