The swap involved the release of 30 Palestinian women and children from Israeli custody. According to reports from Arab media, Hamas handed over 10 Israeli hostages, among them individuals associated with various international NGOs, along with 2 Thai citizens to the Red Cross. This exchange facilitated the freedom of 15 Palestinian women and an equal number of children, allowing them to return to their homes in Ramallah.
It’s worth noting that among those released from Israeli prisons during the five-day ceasefire were women and children, shedding light on Israel’s detainment of individuals from these demographics during conflicts.
