In Karachi, the surge in the international gold market has led to a corresponding increase in local gold prices. Globally, the price of gold per ounce has risen by 3 dollars, reaching 2043 dollars.
Locally, in bullion markets, the price of 24-karat gold per tola climbed by Rs. 400 to Rs. 217,200, while the price of gold per ten grams increased by Rs. 343 to Rs. 186,214. Despite this uptick in gold rates, the price of silver remained steady at Rs. 2670 per tola and Rs. 2289.09 per ten grams.
