Increase in the price of gold in the local and international market.

After going expensive, gold became cheap again

In the global bullion market, the cost of gold per ounce surged to $2050, marking a $2 increase. Consequently, the price of 24-karat gold per tola climbed by Rs. 800 to reach Rs. 218,900, while the rate for ten grams of gold escalated by Rs. 685 to Rs. 187,671.

Conversely, the price of silver per tola and ten grams of silver remained steady at Rs. 2,600 and Rs. 2,229.08, respectively.
