Amir Siraj-ul-Haq from Jamaat-e-Islami, speaking at a rally in Sahiwal, commented on India’s successful moon mission and criticized his own country’s focus on political vendettas instead of scientific progress.
Addressing the gathering, Siraj-ul-Haq stated that the current government, referring to the PDM, has made life unbearable for the impoverished population, leaving them without even basic necessities.
He further mentioned a foreign institution’s alleged intention to exert control over Pakistan for the next three decades, claiming that this influence led to the rise of the PDM.
Amir Siraj-ul-Haq raised concerns about the escalating prices of essential commodities such as electricity, petrol, diesel, and gas. He urged the government to promptly reverse the recent electricity price hikes.
In his speech, he criticized the lack of action by both the ruling authorities and the judiciary to alleviate the public’s hardships. Amir Jamaat-e-Islami emphasized that Pakistan’s progress is hindered as long as there exists a system conflicting with religious principles.
