An Indian Air Force aircraft crashed soon after takeoff, carrying two pilots on a routine training flight from the Indian Air Force Academy in Hyderabad, Telangana. The plane lost communication with the control tower shortly after departure.
Following the loss of contact, a search operation was initiated, leading to the discovery of the aircraft’s wreckage in an open area. Tragically, the plane was completely destroyed by fire.
During the rescue mission, the team recovered the bodies of the two pilots from the wreckage. They were transported to a military hospital. The casualties included an instructor and a trainee pilot.
The Indian Air Force spokesperson confirmed the formation of an inquiry committee to investigate the causes behind this tragic accident.
