Speaking during a Senate session chaired by Sadiq Sanjrani, Dar highlighted the prevalent sentiment favoring chief minister roles in major provinces over the position of prime minister. He underscored the need for provinces to harness their resources and address the historical neglect of the health and education sectors.
Additionally, Dar emphasized the duty to support Palestine, stressing that fulfilling international obligations hinges on Palestine’s freedom. He called for unified bipartisan support in providing diplomatic and financial aid to the Palestinian cause.
Meanwhile, PTI Senator Dilawar criticized the rigidity of the 18th amendment, suggesting it causes challenges within provinces. Advocating attention to WHO certification, Senator Barrister Ali Zafar proposed the establishment of a committee to enhance coordination between federal and provincial authorities. Chairman Senate endorsed the formation of this committee.
