Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court has ordered to hold an online meeting of lawyers with Imran Khan in the contempt of court case for not meeting the PTI founder in jail and to appear in court at three o’clock.
The Additional Attorney General objected to this order and said that the court cannot pass such an order in a contempt of court case.
The Islamabad High Court summoned the Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Interior along with the records while also issuing a notice to the Attorney General’s Office for judicial assistance.
Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan heard the request of Advocate Faisal Chaudhry. Additional Attorney General Manoor Iqbal Dogal also appeared before the court.
During the hearing, Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan inquired that you are saying that the government can stop the process of delivery of justice by a notification? The State Council replied that the court hearings were not taking place and therefore they were not called.
The court remarked that the petitioner is saying that the court order has been violated through a notification, I am not saying whether the notification is correct or not, for that they will have to issue a separate petition, but despite the court order, the meeting Refusal is a violation of a court order.
The State Council said that the Punjab government has banned prison meetings based on the law and order situation.
Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan inquired that lawyers’ meetings were also banned. The person who issued this notification has also committed contempt of court, the Punjab government has committed contempt of court if it stopped the meeting of the lawyers.
The petitioner said that since October 3, the jail meeting of the lawyers has not been conducted.
The court said in the remarks that Sher Sher Arahai is issuing so many letters, what will be the result if these letters are not genuine, I will ask those who have written these letters in camera, I will ask them for that statement by placing their hands on the Quran. Affidavit will give it was indeed this position.

The Islamabad High Court ordered the founder PTI to appear before the court at three o’clock and said that they will bring Imran Khan and they will have a meeting with their lawyers.
Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan remarked that if you present the founder of PTI in the court, then this court will be supreme, you should make security arrangements and bring Imran Khan to the court, if you cannot bring him, then you will tell the court tomorrow. Why could not present?
The High Court ordered the Superintendent Adiala Jail that if you do not bring, you will give the reason, the security threat will satisfy the court regarding the reason for not bringing.
