In an announcement made at the United Nations General Assembly, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netan yahu declared the achievement of a peace accord with Saudi Arabia. Prime Minister Netanyahu emphasized the importance of Palestinian recognition of the Jewish people’s right to a sovereign state as a key step towards lasting peace between Israel and the Palestinians.
Furthermore, he highlighted that this newfound peace pact with Saudi Arabia is expected to serve as a catalyst, encouraging other Arab nations to join in signing peace agreements with Israel. The collaborative efforts of these Arab countries will pave the way for the creation of a new peace corridor. Notably, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco, and Sudan have already taken steps to recognize Israel and establish diplomatic ties.
