The government’s final decade of the term is set to commence tomorrow, and there are indications that the National Assembly will be dissolved on August 11 with the approval of both the coalition and the government.

Following consultations, recommendations will be forwarded to the President on August 11. If the President does not sign the recommendations, the Assembly will automatically dissolve 48 hours after their submission, and the National Assembly’s term will come to an end on August 13 at 12:00 pm.

Upon receiving the recommendations, the President will notify both the government and the opposition about appointing a caretaker Prime Minister.

If a consensus is reached, the President will have a few hours for formal notification after three days of consultations. Both the government and the opposition are required to complete the consultation process and submit the name of the Caretaker Prime Minister within three days.

In the event of no consensus, the Election Commission will announce the name of the caretaker Prime Minister from the proposed candidates within three days.
