Judgment reserved on Imran Khan’s application for suspension of disqualification in Tosha Khana case.

PTI founder arrested in another terrorism case, release in trouble

The Islamabad High Court has yet to announce its decision regarding the petition submitted by the PTI’s founder chairman to halt the ruling in the Tosha Khana criminal case.

During the court session, the founder of PTI sought to suspend the entire verdict given by the session court in the Tosha Khana case. Amjad Pervez, representing the Election Commission, objected, citing that such relief should have been sought in the Lahore High Court and was not suitable for this court.

He highlighted that the appeal for suspension of sentence was lodged on August 8, with the decision arriving on August 28. Subsequently, on October 5, a separate application for the suspension of judgment was submitted, one month and seven days after the initial decision.

The Islamabad High Court has not yet given its ruling on the PTI founder’s plea to halt the decision in the Tosha Khana criminal case.
