Talha Mehmood, a leader of Jamiat Ulema Islam F (JUI), has declared his departure from the party to join the People’s Party.
Mehmood made this announcement while speaking to the media, stating that he was personally invited by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to join the People’s Party.
He also mentioned having a recent meeting with Asif Zardari, during which he was encouraged to join the party.
Mehmood emphasized the current challenges faced by Pakistan and expressed his belief that collective efforts are necessary to overcome them. Nir Bukhari, the Secretary General of the People’s Party, welcomed Mehmood, acknowledging his significance as a seasoned politician who has chosen to join their ranks.
