The video of the Sindh Governor’s statement quickly gained traction on social media, resulting in the creation of humorous memes and both praise and criticism for the Governor. Shoaib Hijam, in response, clarified that he had business concerns and had asked Governor Kamran Tesuri to release a video endorsing him. The Governor, in turn, responded by stating that the criticism directed towards him was unwarranted.
In contrast, the Governor’s House spokesperson emphasized that the Governor of Sindh represents all segments of society. The spokesperson explained that when Shoaib Nai requested support, the Governor readily issued a video statement to welcome him.
