The police in Karachi apprehended seven alleged robbers across different areas, recovering stolen items, weapons, and mobile phones after several encounters.
In the New Karachi Industrial Area, an injured suspect, Muhammad Ahmed, was captured after an encounter in Lassi Goth Sector 12/D. Another accomplice escaped under cover of darkness. The arrested individual was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, and a pistol, cash, and a mobile phone were seized.
Meanwhile, the Shah Latif Police detained five suspects, including an injured person, near Chirag Colony Khana bridge. The injured suspect, Shoaib Ali, was admitted to Jinnah Hospital. Among the arrested were Junaid Ali, Nadeem, Yar Muhammad, and Mir Wali. Recovered items included three pistols, six stolen mobile phones, cash, and two motorcycles.
Sohrab Goth Police also arrested an injured individual, Haider, after an encounter near Kacha Pakka Road Government Primary School. The suspect was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, and items recovered included a pistol, cash, and a mobile phone. One accomplice managed to flee the scene.
The apprehended suspects, allegedly involved in numerous street crimes, will be investigated post-treatment.
