The Caretaker Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has introduced a fund release policy covering the months from November to February.
This policy entails that funds will not be allocated for individual projects. As per the directive from the Finance Department, only 10% of the funds will be disbursed for ongoing approved development projects.
In line with this announcement, the establishment of new development projects is completely prohibited, and the finance department should receive comprehensive information about district-wise projects after the funds are released. Moreover, 100% of the funds will be allocated for the procurement of medicines and other essential items, while 25% of the funds will be designated for Medical Teaching Institutions (MTIs).
Likewise, funds will be distributed to Tehsils, Villages, and Neighborhood Councils on a monthly basis, contingent upon the availability of funds.
