LPG price reduced by Rs 20 per kg.

In the wake of improved relations between Pakistan and Iran, the cost of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) has seen a decline of Rs 20 per kilogram, as reported from Lahore.

Irfan Khokhar, the Chairman of the LPG Distributors Association, mentioned that the LPG price has now dropped from Rs 300 to Rs 280 per kg, and there is a possibility of further reductions. He indicated that following this reduction, domestic cylinder prices have decreased by Rs 230, and commercial cylinder prices have witnessed a Rs 900 decrease. Khokhar anticipates the potential for additional price drops in the next 48 hours. He attributed this positive change to the improvement in Pakistan-Iran relations, stating that it has led to a weakening of gas mafias and the dissolution of their aspirations.
