Canadian-born Indian actress Noora Fathi has claimed that her reputation has been severely tarnished after being implicated in a money laundering case involving Jacqueline Fernandez. According to an Indian media report, Noora Fatehi appeared at Patiala House to give her statement in the 200 crore rupees money laundering case. She stated that she was coerced into the situation and believes that there was a deliberate attempt to defame her by linking her to Sukesh Chandrasekhar and the money laundering accusations. This has resulted in significant mental and financial distress for her.
Feeling the need to defend herself against the false allegations and negative portrayal as a ‘gold digger,’ Noora Fatehi has taken legal action. She has filed a defamation case against Jacqueline Fernandez and several media outlets responsible for criticizing her. Noora clarified that she has no association with Sukesh Chandrasekhar and no knowledge of the alleged 200 crore rupees money laundering scheme. She believes that she is being unfairly made a scapegoat in an effort to protect others involved in the case, with Jacqueline Fernandez being mentioned specifically.
Noora Fatehi attributes the targeting of her as a result of her foreign background and demands compensation for the damage caused to her career by these unfounded allegations.
It’s important to note that Sukesh Chandrasekhar is currently incarcerated for the money laundering case involving 200 crores rupees. Both Jacqueline Fernandez, who had a close relationship with Sukesh, and Noora Fathi are under investigation in connection to this matter.
