Karachi: Actress Mansha Pasha has expressed that making the decision to divorce is one of life’s most challenging choices.
During a podcast interview, Mansha Pasha discussed the rising divorce rates in society, noting that some individuals opt not to marry because they anticipate divorce as an inevitable outcome of marriage, which raises questions about the purpose of marriage.
Reflecting on her own first marriage’s failure, Mansha Pasha revealed that she had never envisioned such an ending. Recovering from the emotional aftermath of divorce took her five years, emphasizing how extraordinarily difficult the decision to divorce can be.
The actress went on to describe how, after becoming accustomed to living in accordance with a partner and societal expectations post-marriage, the abrupt end of a relationship through divorce can lead to significant life changes. Adjusting to new routines and lifestyles takes time.
Mansha Pasha also noted that some individuals, deterred by the escalating divorce rates, choose not to marry, assuming that divorce is an inevitable outcome. She urged against allowing such thoughts to hinder life progress, emphasizing the folly of such a mindset. In 2021, Mansha Pasha married social activist Gibran Nasir, with whom she had been friends for many years prior to their marriage.
