Maulana Fazlur Rahman has said that the country cannot develop without ending the usurious system.

Chairman of the Central Ulema Council of Pakistan Sahibzada Zahid Mahmood Qasmi met with the head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Maulana Fazlur Rehman at Dumar House and congratulated and thanked him for the approval of the Society Act Amendment Bill for the registration of madrasas in the 26th constitutional amendment.

Chairman Central Ulema Council of Pakistan Sahibzada Zahid Mahmood Qasmi Vice Chairman Central Ulema Council of Pakistan Pir Ji Khalid Mahmood Qasmi, Maulana Ibrahim Abdullah, Sahibzada Hussain Ahmad Qasmi, Mujeeb Damar, Amir Mian Irfan of Jamiat Ulema Islam Faisalabad, Secretary General Faisalabad Mufti Shahid Muawiya and officials of Jamiat Ulema Islam District Faisalabad were also present.

Maulana Fazlur Rahman, head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, said that the approval of the abolition of interest in the 26th constitutional amendment is a matter of pride for the entire nation.

The country cannot develop without the end of the Sudi system and this is the system of Allah. When we were in power of PDM, the draft was prepared and now we are in the opposition, so Allah took this good deed from us. Thankful to Allah.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that rumors are being heard that the 27th constitutional amendment will also come, which could not be done in the 26th amendment, it will be done in this amendment.

On this occasion, Sahibzada Zahid Mahmood Qasmi and the officials of Jamiat Ulema Islam Faisalabad congratulated and paid tribute to Maulana Fazlur Rehman for the abolition of the usury system in the 26th constitutional amendment and the approval of the Society Act Amendment Bill for madrasa registration.
