In connection with the events of May 9, police have filed challans for 12 cases against Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood Qureshi, along with additional challans against Sheikh Rashid. The court has accepted all these challans for further proceedings.
Among the cases are those related to the GHQ attack, implicating PTI founder Imran Khan in the November incidents. The court has extended the judicial remand of Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood Qureshi until February 6. Copies of the cases will be distributed to all the accused on the next court date, and both Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood Qureshi were present during this session.
Imran Khan informed the judge that his arrest on May 9 was unlawful, claiming that instead of delivering justice, retaliatory cases were filed against him.
