New York: PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has hinted at major changes in the team following their defeat by India in the T20 World Cup.
Speaking to journalists after the match, Naqvi remarked that while it initially seemed the team needed only minor adjustments, the poor performance against India has made it clear that a more significant overhaul is necessary.
He stated that Pakistani cricket is currently at its lowest performance level. The biggest challenge now is to improve the team’s performance.

Naqvi suggested that the nation will soon witness substantial changes in the national cricket team, emphasizing the need to prepare for the Champions Trophy and to give new talent a chance.
The PCB Chairman further mentioned that the goal is to make the Pakistan cricket team one of the best in the world. He is well aware of the issues within the team and the reasons behind their losses.
According to Naqvi, the nation does not expect such disappointing performances from the cricket team, and there is a need to demonstrate better results.
