The Special Court Central of Lahore approved the acquittal pleas of Prime Minister’s son Sulaiman Shahbaz and others in the money laundering case of 16 billion rupees.
Sulaiman Shahbaz appeared before the court. FIA submitted answers to 27 questions asked by the court. The learned judge inquired as to who had conducted the money laundering inquiry. The FIA counsel informed the court that the JIT had conducted the inquiry.

The investigation officer said that the action was started in the light of the report of the Sugar Inquiry Commission. In the investigation, the FIA took the account details of Sulaiman Shehbaz but his account was not used.
The court asked why you made a case against him when his account was not used. The position of the investigating officer was that money was deposited in Sulaiman Shehbaz’s accounts and used to be withdrawn in cash.
The court inquired as to what crime it is to deposit and withdraw money. Judge Bakht Fakhr Behzad remarked that that is why I The IA was called to come and tell them whether this drama has been going on for so many years.

Suleiman Shehbaz and others were acquitted in the money laundering case. It is clear that the court has already acquitted Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz from this case on October 12, 2022.
Speaking to the media after the court proceedings, Sulaiman Shahbaz said that this case started from 2018, during which the case of Daily Mail also came up.
