China and Pakistan have signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) to outline the framework of ML1 and the realignment of the Karakoram Highway.
The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Chinese Vice Premier He Li Feng, with Shahbaz Sharif emphasizing the importance of these documents in enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries.
Under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), a significant investment of 25 billion dollars has been made in various projects. President Arif Alvi will present the Hilal Pakistan award to the Vice Premier of China.
The visit of the Chinese Deputy Prime Minister marks the ten-year celebration of the Pakistan-China Economic Corridor. Ahsan Iqbal and Rana Sanaullah, Federal Ministers, welcomed the Deputy Prime Minister at Islamabad Airport.
