In Karachi, sources linked to the coordination committee of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan have disclosed that the committee intends to reach a conclusive decision following negotiations with the Muslim League-N in the upcoming days.
The sources indicate that MQM’s core stance revolves around allowing Sindh Governor Kamran Tesuri to carry out his duties unhindered. It is suggested by members of the coordination committee that if this principled position of MQM Pakistan is not acknowledged, then the party should consider assuming an opposition role.
Furthermore, the deliberations within the coordination committee encompassed considerations regarding aligning with the government or opting for an opposition stance. Discussions regarding potential dialogue with the Muslim League-N were also part of the meeting agenda.
