Muhammad Aurangzeb assumed the role of Finance Minister following his oath-taking ceremony in Islamabad.
Formerly the CEO of a private bank, Aurangzeb resigned from his previous position before officially taking charge at the President’s House.
Upon assuming his new role, he received a warm welcome from the Secretary and other senior officials at the Ministry of Finance. In his initial meeting with ministry officials, Aurangzeb was introduced to the senior management and officers, and received briefings on ministerial affairs.
