Murtaza Solangi; The promise of 300 units of free electricity is “cheap talk”.

Speaking to the media outside the Election Commission, he said that only PTI can better explain the issues related to PTI, Election Commission of Pakistan has the constitutional responsibility to conduct free, fair, impartial and transparent elections in Pakistan. Yes, the caretaker government is the constitutional and legal government that stands behind the Election Commission.

He said that the Election Commission is constitutionally bound to meet the financial, administrative and security requirements, the security problems are real, we are aware of them and will improve them.

He said that there is no ban on raising questions in the country. Inshallah the elections will be held on February 8. The Election Commission is determined to conduct the election on time.

The Information Minister said that politics has become our national pastime, politics and economy are a joint expression of economic interests, the tax and non-tax revenue we collected last year was not even enough to pay the debt and interest. The entire budget had to be run on debt.

He said that it is very easy to say that I will give free electricity up to 300 units. Some say that I will double the salaries, some say that I will triple it, but this is chat talk. Agriculture is a quarter of your GDP last year. The agriculture income tax collected from the provinces was close to three billion, with workers paying more tax than exporters last year.

He said that since 1985, the political culture has become that MPs, MNAs are making streets and drains. It is neither nor should it be, there will be false news and false promises during the election period.

Murtaza Solangi said that if someone makes a false promise in the election campaign, then tell him that this promise cannot be fulfilled.
