Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that my explanatory statement is being misinterpreted. Ishaq Dar has said that he gave an explanatory statement in the National Assembly on the issue of taxes on agriculture and construction sector, the aim of which was to eliminate the impression that the government will impose new taxes on agriculture and construction sectors.
In this regard, Ishaq Dar has said that the tax measures mentioned are those which have been imposed in the country till June 30, apart from these, no new tax is being imposed. It is also clarified that no federal tax has been imposed or will be imposed on agricultural income.
