Lahore: Najam Sethi withdrew from the election of PCB chairman. Chairman of PCB Management Committee Najam Sethi wrote in his Twitter message that Asif Zardari and Shehbaz Sharif do not want to have a conflict, such instability is not good for PCB.
He wrote that in these circumstances, I am not a candidate for the post of Chairman PCB, but I wish all the stakeholders the best.
It should be noted that the term of the PCB Management Committee is coming to an end on June 21, before which the Prime Minister has to issue a formal letter of nomination of two persons for the new PCB head.
The PCB Board of Governors will elect one of the two Patron nominees as the new chairman in a special meeting.
