In Karachi, Asif Zardari, Co-Chairman of the People’s Party, has emphasized the urgent need to address the prevailing crisis in the nation. He stressed that, rather than engaging in political maneuvering, our primary concern should be the economy.
In a statement, the former president expressed confidence in the Election Commission’s ability to conduct elections in accordance with the constitution. He highlighted the importance of the Election Commission’s role in creating new constituencies following the census and conveyed trust in the Chief Election Commissioner and the commission’s members.
Zardari also called upon the caretaker government to expedite the completion of projects related to the Sindh Infrastructure Development Company (SIFC) in order to propel the country towards a path of development. He underlined that the current economic crisis demands our immediate attention and collective effort, urging us to prioritize economic concerns over political ones. He underscored that our shared responsibility is to ensure the well-being of the country, as it is the foundation upon which we all rely.
