According to ISPR, General Syed Asim Munir visited Police Line Islamabad regarding Pakistan Martyrs Day. He addressed the Islamabad police officers, jawans, families of police martyrs. The Army Chief said that what happened on May 9 is very sad and condemnable, the nation will neither forgive nor forget those who desecrate the memorials of the martyrs and harm their dignity and will not tolerate such a thing. will be done
The Army Chief said that those martyrs who were granted eternal life by Allah Almighty, nothing can erase their sacrifices. He further said that the Pakistan Army, Police and law enforcement agencies are the state’s symbol and like a leaden wall which does not hesitate to make any sacrifice for the dignity of the country.
The HE said that the heirs of the martyrs I want to convey this message that today the people of Pakistan and the Pakistan Army stand and will continue to stand with the families of the martyrs of all law enforcement agencies. The Chief of Army Staff was received by the Inspector General of Police Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan on arrival at the police line.
