Nawaz Sharif prohibited workers from bringing “lions” in the election rally.

In Lahore, the head of the Muslim League-N, Mian Nawaz Sharif, has issued a directive prohibiting party members from featuring live lions in their election rallies.

The party’s Information Secretary and former Federal Minister, Maryam Aurangzeb, conveyed this message on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter). She stated that Nawaz Sharif took immediate action upon learning about the inclusion of a real lion in the election rally on Mohini Road.

According to Maryam Aurangzeb’s social media post, Nawaz Sharif promptly instructed the removal of the lion from the rally, and the animal was promptly sent back. Emphasizing the importance of respecting the rights of animals, Nawaz Sharif has sternly advised party workers against bringing any live tigers or animals to any rally throughout Pakistan. He cited the teachings of Islam and related laws as guiding principles in this matter.
