Rana Sanaullah, the leader of Muslim League-N and Federal Interior Minister, has denied that anyone proposed Ishaq Dar as a candidate for caretaker prime minister.
He clarified that there was no such suggestion, and the reports suggesting otherwise are incorrect.
Regarding the return of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to the country, Rana Sanaullah stated that Nawaz Sharif will come back soon, fulfill the required legal procedures, and appear in the courts. He expressed confidence that Nawaz Sharif will be acquitted.
Addressing the law and order situation, Rana Sanaullah mentioned that while there are challenges, he does not consider it appropriate to say that the law and order situation is deteriorating. He acknowledged that there are security concerns in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to the rise in terrorism. However, he praised the law enforcement agencies for their dedication and bravery in the fight against terrorists.
