Bollywood star Arshad Warsi, who is returning to the silver screen with his new film ‘Banda Singh Chaudhary’, is happy with the audience’s response to his diverse roles.
Expressing his satisfaction with his career, he said that he has got the opportunity to play different types of roles apart from comedy roles, for which he is grateful.
In an interview to Bollywood Hungama, Arshad said, “I have no complaints about my career. I am lucky that I got the opportunity to play a variety of roles.”
He added that while many actors remain trapped in comic roles, they have been appreciated in serious roles as well.
He said, “I never let the seriousness of my character affect me, be it in a comedy or a serious film.”
Arshad Warsi has worked in various hit films ranging from comedy to serious roles, including Munnabhai MBBS, Lage Raho Mannabhai, Ishqiya, Dhamaal.
