There was firing attack on an anti-polio team in Spanwam area of North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the sources, the terrorists opened fire on the security personnel of the polio team, one security personnel was martyred and one was injured.
After the attack, the security forces started a search operation in the area to arrest the terrorists, while the injured official was shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
