In Peshawar, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s General Secretary, Omar Ayub, has been granted bail by the Peshawar High Court, with an order prohibiting his arrest until January 15.
Justice Kamran Hayant presided over Omar Ayub’s plea at the Peshawar High Court and, following initial arguments, approved bail.
The court has extended bail to Omar Ayub until January 15, instructing no arrest to be made. Additionally, the petitioner has been directed to appear before the relevant court.
Umar Ayub’s legal representative highlighted that 21 cases have been lodged against him across Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The petitioner seeks to present himself in these respective courts, hence the request for bail.
It’s important to note that Omar Ayub had been evading authorities since May 9, although he was sighted attending his father’s funeral.
