The Lahore High Court has issued a release order for Sher Afzal Marwat, Senior Vice President of PTI.
Reportedly, Sher Afzal Marwat, a prominent PTI leader, was taken into custody by the police a few days ago under Section 3 of the Maintenance of Public Order (MPO). Today, his petition challenging the arrest was heard before Justice Shahram Sarwar Chaudhry at the Lahore High Court.
The judge granted bail and instructed the submission of bail bonds for his release.
Sher Afzal Marwat had addressed the Lahore High Court Bar on December 14 and was subsequently arrested by the police under Section 3 of the MPO.
