The promo features not only the traditional rivals, Pakistan and India, but also showcases Afghanistan and Sri Lanka. Fans are showing great enthusiasm for the promo, praising it as even better than the official promo for the World Cup.
In contrast, the International Cricket Council (ICC) faced criticism from fans for their official World Cup 2023 promo, which omitted Pakistani players. The Asia Cup is set to commence on August 30, starting with a match between Pakistan and Nepal in Multan. On August 31, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka teams will face off in Kandy. The much-awaited matches between arch-rivals Pakistan and India will take place in Kandy in September. The grand finale of the Asia Cup is scheduled for September 17 in Colombo.
