Islamabad: Pakistan got to host the Olympics qualifying round. The FIH Olympic Hockey Qualifying Event will be held in Lahore from January 13 to January 21 next year.
Secretary General Pakistan Hockey Federation Haider Hussain has said that it is an honor to host the FIH event, after the 1990 World Cup, Pakistan will host the 8-team tournament.
He said that Pakistan’s stadiums were full house in the World Cup of 90, this event will be the first drop of rain in the return of the golden age of hockey in Pakistan, FIH will organize this event in a grand manner.
