A mountaineer from Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, Sarbaz Ali, has successfully climbed Mount Everest, the world’s highest peak, without using supplemental oxygen.
He is the second Pakistani to accomplish this feat, following Sajid Sadpara. Sarbaz Ali has now climbed 11 out of the 14 peaks that exceed 8,000 meters without oxygen support, making him the only Pakistani to achieve this. In total, he has ascended 13 peaks over 8,000 meters.
