In Islamabad, following the allocation of designated seats, the party standings have been revealed.
The Pakistan Muslim League (N) emerged as the largest party in the National Assembly, securing 123 seats. In the recent elections, PML-N clinched 75 general seats, with an additional 9 members affiliating with the party. PML-N also secured 34 seats reserved for women and 5 seats for minorities.
The Sunni Ittehad Council holds 82 seats in the National Assembly, while the Pakistan People’s Party saw its representation increase to 73 members. PPP secured 54 general seats, with 16 seats reserved for women and 3 for minorities.
The Muttahida Qaumi Movement has 22 members in the National Assembly, winning 17 general seats, 4 seats for women, and 1 for minorities.
The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam’s representation in the National Assembly has risen to 11 members, with 6 general seats, 4 reserved for women, and 1 for minorities.
The Stability Pakistan Party holds 4 seats, including 3 general seats and 1 reserved for women. Meanwhile, the Pakistan Muslim League-Q has 5 seats, comprising 3 general seats, 1 independent member who joined the party, and 1 seat reserved for women.
