During the second day’s tea break at the Perth Test match, Pakistan had accumulated 40 runs without losing any wickets in their first innings, while Australia managed to score 487 runs before being all out.
On the second day, Australia began their innings at 346 runs for the loss of 5 wickets. However, they added 141 runs before losing their sixth wicket, with Alex Carey (34 runs), Mitchell Starc (12 runs), captain Pat Cummins (9 runs), and Nathan Lyon (5 runs) being dismissed. Mitchell Marsh played a significant innings, scoring 90 runs.
