PIA paid 40 crores to PSO, another 1 billion 10 crores remaining.

PIA bagged the country's first National Tourism Award

In Karachi, National Airlines (PIA) recently settled a portion of its outstanding fuel dues with Pakistan State Oil (PSO), paying Rs 40 crore out of the remaining Rs 1.5 billion.

This payment was facilitated after the FBR retrieved the account. Sources indicate that PIA needed to pay Rs 1.50 crore to maintain its credit limit and has an additional Rs 1.10 crore pending to meet this threshold. The airline’s administration relies on a pre-provided demand list from the fuel supply company to manage its fuel requirements.
