Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced the launch of a nationwide campaign titled ‘Healthy Diet, Health Forever’.
In a statement, the Prime Minister said that abandoned hospitals and playgrounds should be inhabited across the country.
He said that they are starting a campaign ‘Healthy Food, Health Forever’ across the country, under which the customers will be informed about the calories of the food in every restaurant.
According to the recommendations of the World Health Organization, nutritional information should be listed on packaged goods, and trans-fatty acids should be limited to 2% to prevent heart disease.
The Prime Minister further said that the people have the right to know what ingredients are included in the food, the campaign is being spread in collaboration with the food authorities of all the provinces.
